Literature Text

If I could write one thousand words,
To sail across the sea,
Wondering the hardships I’d endure,
To bring you back to me.

Of freezing fire,
And blazing ice,
One last desire to suffice the lust I’ve felt oh so thrice.

A eulogy of heaven I’d sing,
As the waves crash across the bow,
And feeling their icy sting,
Reach up into the clouds.

One last time,
Sworn in my own blood,
Slashing my hands as a clasp a promise,
Bound with thyme and mud.
I got yelled at by my parents, so I decided to put my feelings into a little poem.
